THE ART PARK
A space for reflection and contemplation
A welcoming oasis of art and nature
Here you will find a variety of textile sculptures, created by artist Kari Hestnes. The sculptures include her chakra wheels, which symbolize the energy centers in our body. There are also other creative works that invite visitors to explore the textures and shapes that bring the garden to life.
"In my artistic journey, I delve into my inner world, creating vibrant works that resonate with the viewers' inner landscapes. My practice is rooted in a deep connection to my intuition, which allows me to channel emotions and narratives that evoke a sense of wonder and exploration. Through the use of acrylic paint, I create colorful, abstract compositions that invite dialogue and reflection.
The essence of my work lies in the ability to activate creativity and imagination, and encourage the viewer to engage with their own emotions and experiences. Each individual artwork acts as a portal, revealing layers of meaning and inviting reflection. My large crocheted circles and textile sculptures further expand this dialogue, by uniting tactile elements with visual storytelling."
The paths in our Art Park are lined with trees, plants and flowers, and lead you to cozy seating areas where you can enjoy the surroundings. Here you can take time to meditate, read or just relax while being inspired by the art around you.
The art park is also a place of community, where visitors can participate in workshops and creative events. These activities provide opportunities to explore their own artistic expressions and share experiences with others.
Inspired by the natural world and the mysteries of life, we aim to create a space where beauty and nature coexist. My art is not just a mirror of the outside; it embodies a journey inward, encouraging a connection with yourself and the universe. Through this exploration, I hope to inspire your curiosity and emotional resonance, so that you can find your own narrative in the vibrant tapestry of creativity here in the garden.
The Art Park is a place for reflection and inspiration, where everyone—from art lovers to curious visitors and children—can find joy in art and nature.
Welcome to a garden that focuses on the inner journey
and the beauty of creative expression.
