Painting is meditation and presence for me.

In the process of painting, I get to know myself better and I am constantly amazed at what I find in my inner treasury. I paint intuitively, the motif emerges through my hands as I paint. It often starts with chaos and through the clearing process the motif emerges.

 

In my work, I want to convey a sense of wonder at being human in the cosmos.  To express the human longing to understand the connection between outer and inner life. Life on earth and contact with that which is greater and more magical than we are able to comprehend.
